Today, Nazifa shared her work at the Life Sciences Symposium!
While it’s always exciting to share our work and receive feedback, I’m extra proud of her accomplishments in just 5 months since joining the lab.
Her poster, “Associations Between Maternal Iron Status and the Gut Microbiome in a South Asian Pregnancy Cohort”, highlighted several analyses exploring how maternal microbiome composition relates to iron deficiency during pregnancy.
