Jess is the PI of the Grembi Lab. She has travelled a non-traditional route to becoming a PI with stops along the way as a company commander in the US Army, an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, and a global health project coordinator. Nazifa Tabassum
PhD Student (Jan 2025 to present)
Nazifa is a PhD student in the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Biosciences (MCIBS) program studying associations between maternal micronutrient status and the microbiome, with an emerging interest in the virome. She is passionate about connecting microbiome science to global health and making research accessible beyond the lab bench.

Pablo "Eddie" Ochoa-Andersen

Eliza Daigle

Eliza is a research technologist in the Grembi lab. She is passionate about epidemiology, especially as it relates to preventative care, and has plans for medical school in the future.
Denise Coslo
