Lab manual - covers our communication strategy, code of conduct, laboratory safety, and best practices for reproducibility of computational workflows.

How to get involved:

Undergraduate students - Our lab has a combination of wet lab and computational opportunities. Highly motivated undergrads who are interested in gaining research experience should be able to make a minimum commitment of 8 hours/week in the fall and spring semesters. Please email me to inquire if there are openings and indicate 1) whether you prefer to gain wet lab or computational skills, 2) what time commitment you can make, 3) what motivated you to seek out a lab experience.

Graduate students - The lab accepts graduate students through the following programs: 1) Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Biosciences (MCIBS), 2) Bioinformatics and Genomics, and 3) Pathobiology. Our lab does not directly admit students, the admissions committee of each program determines which students are accepted. Once accepted, students may request a 5-week lab rotation in the lab to determine if there is a good fit between the lab’s and a student’s interests. Prospective students should email me to determine if there are openings in the lab and to set up a rotation in the fall semester.

Postdocs or Research Associates - Please reach out via email and be sure to include your interests, CV, a recent manuscript, and your anticipated timeline.
